2022-2023 DEN PARENT APPLICATION
APPLICATIONS DUE BY MIDNIGHT ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 26th
Den Parent Duties Include:
Communicating with the parents in the class to coordinate volunteers for activities/parties.
Helping students celebrate their teacher's birthday.
Supporting our teachers with any needs they might have throughout the year. (potluck lunches, etc.)
DEN PARENTs Must be willing/able to:
Answer emails in a timely manner and be able to communicate with PTO, teachers and parents.
Choose a parent helper/backup for times you are unable to perform your duties.
Have a phone that is able to receive texts and emails.
NEW THIS YEAR:
We are giving all den parents the option of having a secondary den parent assigned to the classroom. If you’d rather be the only den parent for the class, we understand. If you’d like a secondary den parent, you can choose someone or we can assign one from our pool of applicants. This person must be the parent of a student in your same classroom and they cannot be a den parent for another grade.
No previous class parent experience required but you must be able to pass your background check!
